Lillian Jaxx Burning/Safety Information

General Burning Guidelines

Please follow all of the guidelines listed below as they will help ensure the safety of you and your loved ones!

•Trim wick(s) to 1/4” each time before lighting. You may need to extinguish the candle and trim the wick back to 1/4” after several hours of burning.

•DO NOT trim wick(s) too short! This will result in a small flame and the melt pool will not reach the edges of the jar.

•Always burn candle at least until the wax has liquefied to the edge of the jar. A general rule of thumb is one hour per inch of width of the candle. This will prevent any chance of tunneling. Example: A 2” wide candle will need to burn for at least 2 hours. Our candles are tested to burn in room temperatures averaging 70˚. Keep in mind your burning environment. If your room is at 85˚, your candle may burn faster and need the wick trimmed more often.

• Keep wick(s) centered and melt pool free of wick trimmings. When your wax burns down to the last ½”, it is time to dispose of it or place on an industry standard wax warmer.

•NEVER place candle in a microwave to melt the wax at the bottom. Wicks are placed in metal holders, and metal should never be used in a microwave.

•Candles must be burned away from drafts and on a stable, heat resistant surface.

•DO NOT allow water or moisture to mix with the wax. This can cause splattering and popping of the wax.

•Keep candles away from children, pets and curtains.

•All candles come with a warning label attached to the bottom – Please read it.

•Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Candle care and burning is a responsibility. Please burn wisely.
